Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Manager State & Higher Education to join our Southwest Business Department. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for coaching and professionally developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. Your primary goal will be to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.

Key Responsibilities

* Coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales and revenue growth targets

  • Establish and maintain formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts to increase sales and revenue
  • Broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Identify and hire trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry to join our sales organization
  • Onboard and train new hires to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles
  • Collaborate with other leaders in the space to identify opportunities for growth and development
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue growth in State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business decisions and drive growth

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience in developing and managing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and market trends to inform business decisions
  • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. is required, and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • Experience in the airline or travel industry
  • Certification in sales, account management, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of sales and revenue growth strategies, with experience in developing and implementing sales plans
  • Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, with a proven track record of success in leadership and coaching

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • A base salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience

This role is offered as a remote workplace position, which may require travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus.
