Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering Inbound Calls: Providing exceptional support to our customers, addressing their queries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Capturing Information and Entering Data: Accurately capturing customer information and entering data into our customer service database, ensuring seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.
  • Operating Our Customer Service Database: Utilizing our database to access relevant call-handling instructions, ensuring that you have all the information you need to provide top-notch support.
  • Relaying Messages and Routing Calls: Effectively communicating with other departments and teams to ensure that customer issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Following Up on Calls: Providing personalized follow-up to customers, ensuring that their issues are resolved to their satisfaction and that they feel valued and supported.

Skills and Knowledge

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need:

  • Previous Call Center Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience in a call center environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Customer Service Experience: A strong background in customer service, with a passion for delivering outstanding support and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Utilities Customer Service Experience: Experience in utilities customer service is a plus, but not required.
  • Medical Office Setting Customer Service Experience: Experience in medical office settings is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

To join our team, you'll need:

  • Education: A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Ability to Pass a Criminal Background Check: A clean background check is a requirement for this role.
  • Competencies:

+ Reliable internet connection and attendance. + Pleasant and friendly mannerisms, with a sound knowledge of telephone etiquette. + Basic computer navigation skills. + Quick and correct typing – ability to create grammatically correct responses without spelling errors. + Positive attitude and a passion for learning.
