About the position Step into a role where you become a central voice for innovation within Motorola Solutions. We are looking for a skilled storyteller and strategic communicator to connect our worldwide, 8,000-person Global Products Organization (GPO) — the engine behind the technology helping keep communities, schools, hospitals, businesses and nations across the globe safer and more secure. As the communications specialist for our GPO, you will drive the internal narrative that keeps our global team of technologists informed, engaged and inspired. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring our innovators are aligned and celebrated. This position reports to the Director of Business Operations for the GPO.

Responsibilities

  • Influence & Collaboration: You are a natural relationship-builder who can navigate a complex, matrixed organization with ease. You know how to exert influence and gain support from various teams to achieve a common goal.
  • AI Literacy & Innovation: You have a proven track record of leveraging generative AI and other emerging tools to enhance communications efficiency and impact, and can point to ways you’ve creatively used AI to solve a communications or business challenge. You also possess a proactive, experimental mindset toward learning new technologies to keep the GPO organization innovative in not just what we’re doing, but how we’re saying it.
  • Data-Driven Mindset & Technical Skills: You use data and analytics to inform your strategies and demonstrate impact. Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or marketing.
