Social Media Strategist & Content Creator

Remote · USA Full-time New today

The Role: We’re looking for a Social Media Strategist & Content Creator who thrives in a high-performance environment, owns results, and isn’t afraid to take creative risks. This is a hands-on, high-impact role: you will define social strategy, create thumb-stopping content, drive engagement, and directly contribute to bookings across UJV’s master and regional brands. What You’ll Own:

  • Strategy & Growth: Lead platform-specific strategies for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, our private Facebook community, and expand into X, TikTok, and Reddit. Grow audiences, engagement, and booking interest.
  • Content Creation: Create original social content—static posts, carousels, captions, and short-form video—that tells our story, highlights destinations, and showcases partners.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan and execute social campaigns for co-op partners, hitting agreed-upon visibility and performance targets.
  • Performance Insight: Track, analyze, and report on social performance, translating data into actionable recommendations to drive results.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with design, content, and leadership teams to create cohesive campaigns that amplify awareness, trust, and bookings.
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of cultural moments, social trends, and platform shifts. Use AI tools thoughtfully to enhance strategy, copy, and content ideation. What Success Looks Like:
  • Launch an integrated social strategy that drives daily engagement, platform growth, and bookings.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality, on-brand content that aligns with campaigns, partner initiatives, and seasonal priorities.
  • Increase engagement, meaningful interactions, and social-driven booking interest month over month.
  • Own co-op campaigns end-to-end, delivering measurable results and insights.
  • Contribute to a culture of creativity, ownership, and performance excellence across the marketing team. Who You Are:
  • A social-first thinker with 3–5 years’ experience leading social media strategy and content creation for a brand or portfolio of brands.
  • Obsessed with what works on social and why—it’s in your DNA to track performance, analyze data, and make smarter decisions.
  • Hands-on with platforms, short-form video, and content tools (Canva/Adobe Creative Suite) and comfortable experimenting with AI for ideation and optimization.
  • Collaborative, communicative, and confident in owning strategy while aligning with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Near-native English fluency in both written and spoken communication
  • Excited to join a fast-growing, high-performance team where ownership, accountability, and results matter Technical Must-Haves:
  • Expertise publishing across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and private groups.
  • Familiarity with social scheduling and analytics tools, UTM tracking, and campaign reporting.
  • Ability to turn insights into action, and content ideas into results-driven campaigns. Why You’ll Love It Here:
  • High-impact role with direct influence on growth and bookings.
  • Creative freedom to experiment and lead social storytelling across multiple brands.
  • A collaborative, high-performance culture where ownership and results are celebrated.
  • Opportunity to shape the future of social media at a fast-growing travel brand. Latam-based candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates located outside the United States will be engaged under an independent contractor agreement. You will be responsible for managing your own social security and taxes in accordance with the regulations of your home country. Please take this into consideration before applying.
