Assistant Broker

Bridge Specialty Group is seeking an Assistant Broker to join our growing team! This role provides essential clerical, administrative, and account management support to ensure the effective handling of the Broker’s book of business for both new and renewal accounts. Working entirely by phone and written correspondence, with no travel or driving required, the position evaluates risk‑related documentation, ensures accuracy and completeness of applications, and supports the timely issuance of quotes, binders, and policies. The role also manages day‑to‑day account activity, processes endorsements, coordinates inspections, maintains compliance with Quality Control standards, and ensures proper coding and state filings. In addition, this position plays a key part in fostering strong relationships with internal teams, producers, and carrier partners to support smooth workflow and exceptional service delivery. How You Will Contribute: Examines such documents as application forms, inspection reports, insurance maps, and medical reports to determine degree of risk from such factors as applicant financial standing, age, occupation, accident experience, and value and condition of property. Work with Broker, ensuring that all required information is obtained, proper applications are completed, quotes and binders are confirmed in writing, policies are issued promptly and accurately, state filings (where applicable) are made, and taxes paid in accordance with appropriate state laws. Provides full assistance and support within the Department. Provides day-to-day account management on accounts. Compliance with Quality Control guidelines. Order inspections and handle as needed. See that coding on specific required forms are completed and utilized. Process endorsements. Foster and improve relationships with other departments, producers, and companies. Licenses & Certifications: An active state insurance license (preferred). Skills & Experience to Be Successful: High School Diploma or equivalent. One (1) or more years of successful insurance experience or completion of a bachelor’s degree. Pay Range $31.25 - $33.65 Hourly The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
