Senior Portfolio Manager (Business Development Manager) Are you a strategic thinker, relationship builder, and results-driven leader? As a Senior Portfolio Manager (SPM), you'll be the driving force behind high-value engineering projects ($1MM+ project fees), serving as the primary point of contact for clients and external consultants. You'll lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring profitability, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. This is a high-visibility leadership role where you'll influence key business decisions, drive innovation, and play a critical role in growing our presence in the metallurgy industry and related industrial markets. What You'll Do:

  • Develop and expand client relationships - Build a portfolio of key accounts and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead project execution - Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk management for large-scale industrial projects.
  • Drive business growth - Support new business opportunities, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts.
  • Ensure financial success - Manage project financials, pricing strategies, and cash flow.
  • Optimize performance - Implement cost-effective solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Solve complex challenges - Anticipate project risks, develop solutions, and lead their implementation.
  • Deliver results - Monitor project performance, provide regular client reports, and ensure profitability.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of business development experience with professional or consultative services rather than physical products.
  • Strong client relationship management skills - You know how to build trust, credibility, and long-term partnerships.
  • Expertise in safety and contract management - Understanding of liability, risk, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - You make data-driven decisions and drive efficiency.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities - You inspire teams, navigate challenges, and deliver results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $140K - $200K base + 20-30% bonus (compensation flexibility for top talent!)
