Job Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner
• Maintaining a positive, professional attitude and demeanor at all times, even in high-pressure situations
• Receiving and processing requests from multiple sources, including phone, fax, e-Commerce, and in-person interactions
• Coordinating home equipment service requests with Dispatch for prompt delivery
• Engaging in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information, and diffusing angry customers as needed
• Providing customers with product and service information, including Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources
• Verifying medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services
• Following policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance
• Understanding and striving to meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service
• Making sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable
• Performing other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 6 months of relevant customer service experience (preferably in a medical or healthcare setting)
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Customer service orientation
• Attention to detail
• Good data entry skills
• Proficiency with computers, with strong typing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:

As a remote employee, you'll be working from the comfort of your own home, but you'll still need to meet the physical demands of the job. These include:

• Regularly sitting, talking, and hearing
• Frequent typing and computer use
• Occasional standing and walking
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs. (50 lbs. for retail)
• Close vision required
