Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative – Healthcare Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming phone calls from healthcare providers and identifying the type of assistance they need
  • Resolving issues on the first call by navigating complex computer systems and providing accurate responses
  • Delivering information and answering questions in a positive manner to build strong relationships with providers and their staff
  • Completing documentation to track provider issues and report overall trends
  • Interacting with providers to develop relationships and manage a high volume of calls while developing knowledge of various products and benefits

Key Responsibilities:

* Answering phone calls and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Navigating complex computer systems to identify and resolve issues
  • Providing accurate and helpful information to healthcare providers and their staff
  • Building strong relationships with providers and their staff through positive interactions
  • Completing documentation to track provider issues and report overall trends

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must live within 30 miles of Las Vegas, NV
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner
  • Skilled in problem-solving to quickly assess current state and formulate recommendations
  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday

Nice-to-Haves

* 1+ year of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools

  • Prior healthcare experience
