Responsibilities

As a Consultant-Customer/Solution Support Engineer - Azure Infrastructure at Talentra, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including:

  • Utilizing advanced knowledge in Azure Stack HCI, Windows Server, Hyper-V, and VMware to design and implement robust solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Engaging with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Virtualization, Storage, and Networking to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results.
  • Conducting architecture consultation and support for hybrid infrastructures and cloud adoption using the Well Architected Framework, ensuring that our clients' solutions are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
  • Interfacing with enterprise and government clients to successfully plan, deploy, and optimize on-premises, private, and public cloud environments, aligning their technical goals with business objectives.
  • Advising clients on strategic decisions and tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of their organizations, leveraging your expertise in Microsoft's Modern IT Architecture and Strategy.
  • Confidently presenting complex technical concepts and solutions to clients, aligning them with business goals and objectives, and influencing decisions effectively.
  • Providing comprehensive systems architecture, administration, operations, and software support, ensuring that our clients' systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Solving advanced technical issues and delivering training for Microsoft enterprise software products, staying ahead of the curve and driving innovation.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in customer-facing roles involving systems architecture, IT consulting, support, and advanced troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure Stack HCI, Windows Server, Hyper-V, and VMware, with a strong understanding of their respective technologies and applications.
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience, with a solid foundation in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft's Modern IT Architecture and Strategy, with the ability to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios.
  • Advanced Microsoft certifications in relevant technologies (Azure, Windows Server) which are highly preferred, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to excellence.
  • Proven ability to work independently with strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations.
  • Comfort in presenting complex information to clients and influencing decisions effectively, with a strong ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Nice-to-haves

While not required, the following skills and qualifications would be highly beneficial in this role:

  • Experience with cloud migration, cloud security, and cloud governance.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence, using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, with experience in security architecture and risk management.
