As a Mathnasium Math Instructor, our goal is to help students gain confidence in their math skills, develop a growth mindset, and show them that math can be a fun and artistic subject! Instructors will usually work 2+ days per week for a 3-4 hour shift. As an after school learning program, Instructors will need to be available in the afternoons after 3pm during weekdays. Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities
