Experienced Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician – Patient-Centered Care for Seniors

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for computer data entry of prescription orders and medical records, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and productivity. Responsibilities:

As a Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Contacting physician's offices as needed for refill authorization
• Contacting clients for verification of orders as needed
• Processing all new and refill prescriptions
• Opening orders as needed, verifying eligibility, and inputting prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards
• Documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
• Preparing audit sheets and providing feedback to managers
• Forwarding incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution and tracking status in the system
• Initiating and documenting correspondence and follow-up in the system
• Assisting with research of lost or missing orders per internal department requests
• Providing backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels
• Answering incoming calls promptly and providing a high standard of customer service to clients

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements
• Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
• Frameworks and Docutrack experience preferred
• Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* Pharmacy data entry experience; minimum one year

• Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology
