What Success Looks Like In This Role The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for monitoring, interpreting, and operationalizing government regulatory and policy requirements to ensure ongoing compliance and informed decision-making across the organization. In addition to U.S. state and local regulatory oversight, this role assesses geopolitical developments, policy shifts, and government priorities that may impact the company’s operations, risk posture, and market positioning. • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop, update, and maintain organizational policies that align with evolving government and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor standardized processes to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality compliance with reporting obligations (e.g., contractual requirements, government consultant and lobbyist reporting, NASPO, and similar mandates).
  • Develop, monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics related to regulatory compliance and reporting effectiveness.
  • Stay current on new and emerging U.S. state and local government regulations, assess their potential impact on the organization, and lead the implementation of appropriate compliance plans.
  • Analyze regulatory data, policy trends, and external developments to identify emerging risks and opportunities, and recommend strategic responses in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for government reporting activities, acting as the key liaison across the organization.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders by sharing regulatory insights, clarifying requirements, and supporting smooth, compliant interactions across teams.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee understanding of regulatory obligations, reporting processes, and compliance expectations.

  • 5+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role, preferably within state and local government settings.
  • Deep understanding of government regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting protocols.
  • Demonstrated strength in solving complex problems, developing strategies aligned to business requirements and ability to analyze and leverage data to develop innovative solutions.
