Together, we are shaping a healthcare ecosystem that delivers better outcomes for patients, providers, and payers. Position Overview VetsEZ is seeking a Software Product / DevOps Engineer who enjoys building full-stack product capabilities while also owning the automation, deployment, and operational reliability of those systems in cloud environments (AWS and Azure). • Integrate observability (logging, metrics, tracing) to monitor performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product, QA, compliance, clinical, and operations teams to deliver impactful software.
  • Apply DevOps and DevSecOps best practices to enhance automation and secure operations.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and improving system resilience.
  • Support continuous improvement of systems, tooling, and developer workflows.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, product development, cloud engineering, DevOps, or related roles.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Experience or strong interest in cloud automation and DevOps practices.
  • Working knowledge of containers (Docker) and exposure to orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/EKS/AKS).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, JavaScript/Node.js, TypeScript, or similar.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively on a remote team.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, ARM).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK).
  • Familiarity with secure development and compliance in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, FedRAMP).
  • Prior experience supporting government health IT systems.
  • Exposure to frontend frameworks or full-stack web stacks.

  • 401(k) with employer match
