As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead our software testing initiatives and enhance our testing strategy. The QA Manager will be responsible for overseeing all testing activities, managing a team of testing professionals and ensuring the highest quality standards are met across all our software products. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on contribution to drive excellence in our testing practices. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse testing team including Test Lead and Software Testers.
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement within the testing function.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Customer Success, Product Management, Design and Product Support across multiple time zones.
  • Define and execute comprehensive test plans across all product releases for Xogene software.
  • Establish and maintain testing standards, processes, and best practices across both manual and automation testers.
  • Create and maintain quality metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to report on testing progress and potential blockers.
  • Provide accurate time and resource estimation for testing activities across all Xogene software.
  • Define test scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage through effective test case design and review processes.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks during dry run within the sprint cycles.
  • Architect and oversee the implementation of scalable automation testing frameworks.
  • Responsible for creation of all validation documentation including Test Plan, Test Summary Report, Traceability Matrix and UAT Scripts.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in software testing with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Hands-on experience testing large-scale web applications and complex software systems
  • Demonstrated experience managing both manual and automated testing teams
  • Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, REST Assured, etc.)
  • Proficiency in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) and API testing frameworks
  • Working knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript) and database technologies
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and test integration strategies
  • Expertise in SDLC and test management tools
  • Strong team management and resource allocation capabilities
