Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Cashier and Customer Service Associate to join our team at our Marion North and South locations in Marion, IL. As a key member of our retail team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Key Responsibilities

* Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing exceptional customer service and support

• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas
• Process transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and maintain a positive store atmosphere
• Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive shopping environment
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including sales data, inventory levels, and customer feedback

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
