Position The Product Manager is accountable for portfolio revenue and gross margin performance, pricing and packaging discipline, and SKU lifecycle governance across Opengear’s product lines. This role partners with Product Leadership, Sales, and Finance to improve commercial outcomes, reduce complexity, and strengthen investment discipline as new platform and derivative products are introduced.

What You Will Do

  • Own portfolio performance analysis (revenue, margin, mix) and identify improvement actions
  • Lead pricing and packaging initiatives; quantify impact and support GTM enablement
  • Manage lifecycle governance across SKUs, including rationalization and sunset recommendations
  • Build business cases for new investments, bundling, and expansion opportunities
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting and performance tracking; improve forecast accuracy
  • Create and maintain portfolio dashboards; run quarterly portfolio health reviews
  • Track competitive positioning inputs (pricing, packaging, offer structure) and synthesize recommendations

Who You Are and What You Bring

  • 3–6 years in product management, product marketing, strategy, or consulting
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; comfort with ambiguity and trade-offs
  • Experience with pricing, packaging, and commercial performance initiatives
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to leadership
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams
  • Experience in networking, infrastructure, SaaS, or hardware-adjacent markets is a plus

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $74,500 – $116,500. Pay ranges are determined by role, job level and primary job location. The range displayed reflects the reasonable range we anticipate paying for this position and reflects the cost of labor within several U.S. geographic markets. The specific salary offered within the range will depend on various factors including, but not limited to the candidate’s relevant and prior experience, education, skills, and primary work location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each position.
