As a Solution Consultant for Real-World Data Privacy, you will serve as a trusted subject matter expert supporting Datavant's sales teams as they work with our client's commercial, clinical, and data strategy teams in designing and positioning privacy-preserving real-world data solutions. While Privacy will be your primary focus, you will be the strategic solution architect for Datavant's most complex real-world data engagements - working cross-functionally with GTM, product, partnerships, and delivery to design privacy-preserving data strategies that are fast, scalable, and fully integrated into the broader Datavant ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a track record of operating at the intersection of privacy, commercial strategy, and real-world data - someone who can guide clients from ambiguity to clarity, and design solutions that scale beyond a single deal. This role is part of Datavant's Solutions Consulting team - a small, high-trust group focused on end-to-end ownership, cross-functional fluency, and helping clients move from problem to solution with speed and precision. You Will:

  • Own the end-to-end architecture of privacy-preserving data solutions - from initial discovery through activation - spanning structured, unstructured, and multi-source datasets.
  • Lead cross-functional solution design that integrates Datavant's privacy offerings with the broader Datavant stack (Match, Trials, Clean Rooms, Retrieval, etc.).
  • Partner closely with GTM to co-pilot strategic and enterprise deals that involve non-standard data types, novel use cases, or cross-product integrations - shaping deal strategy from first pitch to close.
  • Operate as a single-threaded solution lead - minimizing internal handoffs and avoiding overstaffing by independently owning demos, whiteboarding sessions, and solution architecture conversations.
  • Bridge technical and commercial priorities - ensuring privacy rigor without compromising speed to value, and translating privacy mechanics into clear business outcomes.
  • Coach and cross-train other SC team members on core privacy concepts, while participating in SC-hosted trainings to build fluency across the full Datavant suite - ensuring mutual coverage and strategic depth.
  • Translate complex privacy use cases into clear, client-ready narratives that build trust, particularly in high-stakes or multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Build scalable frameworks, playbooks, and enablement content that advance GTM self-sufficiency and reduce reliance on SMEs for standard privacy use cases.
  • Identify and proactively address gaps in our commercial privacy strategy - surfacing insights to product, delivery, and GTM teams that strengthen our market position.
  • Represent Datavant externally as a strategic thought partner, not a technical validator - helping clients think several steps ahead on privacy, governance, and activation. Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in healthcare data, life sciences, or digital health, with deep familiarity in privacy, data connectivity, or real-world data solution design
  • Proven ability to architect complex, multi-modal data solutions that integrate privacy strategy with business acceleration
  • Familiarity with Expert Determination and de-identification methodologies - from both the vendor and buyer perspective
  • Ability to interpret and apply privacy regulations and complex policy guidance to real-world business scenarios - translating legal and technical frameworks into actionable, value-driven strategies for clients and internal teams.
  • Comfort working across RWD types: structured, unstructured, linked claims, EHR, and digital media signals.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to translate technical concepts into actionable business strategies
  • Strong cross-functional instincts: experience collaborating across GTM, product, delivery, legal, and client teams
  • Strategic mindset - looks beyond today's use case to identify product gaps, GTM blind spots, and paths to scale.
