Job Description: Purpose: The IT Application Systems Analyst at Kichler works as an administrator for the enterprise application systems. This role supports the hardware and software needs of the organization’s ERP while working closely with other IT and business teams. Responsibilities:

• Configures software or creates/modifies software code to meet business requirements;
• Assists in the installation, configuration and support of software applications
• Leads software administration with respect to security, application monitoring, and root cause analysis for problems.
• Assists team members and customers with problem solving related to software application performance and usage
• Coordinates issue resolution with other IT and vendor teams
• Creates and implements test plans for software modifications and facilitates transfer into production.
• Works with broader IT team in assisting with the periodic maintenance, archiving, backup and recovery processes
• Writes software documentation suitable for internal systems control and user manuals.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/IT/Business or Equivalent (Associate Degree with working experience equivalent considered)
• Minimum 1-3 years working experience in the field of IT/Business.
• Knowledge and experience in software development process
• Knowledge of ERP software and its maintenance (Epicor’s Prophet 21 a plus)
• Development experience in .Net, C#, SQL, Crystal reports etc. is a plus
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to optimally prioritize and implement tasks
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and facts in a user-friendly language to non-technical staff
• Strong Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional customer service orientation
