Job Summary

We're seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our team in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming telephone requests from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators, providing technical and emergency damage prevention services. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive benefits package, including a comprehensive health insurance plan, paid vacations/personal/sick time (PTO), 401(k) plan, and more.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at Nexspire, you'll be responsible for:

• Answering inbound calls and following scripted questions from callers who will be digging
• Obtaining information about the customers and their work site
• Data entering information into a ticket format
• Identifying the work site on a mapping system similar to Google Maps
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Communicating effectively and creating positive relationships with excavators, peers, and management
• Processing information quickly and accurately using outlined criteria
• Accurately reading digital maps
• Demonstrating an interest in public safety
• Understanding and applying new concepts
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a home or office environment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to listen and problem solve effectively
• General computer skills
• Ability to adhere to a work schedule including having good attendance
• Ability to work as a team
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently
• Willingness to work overtime based upon the business needs of the call center
• Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
• Must pass a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• Previous customer service experience
• Experience working in a call center environment
• Familiarity with mapping systems and digital maps
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
