Paid Social Media Specialist (YouTube)

Remote · USA Full-time New today

Are you the kind of person who watches an ad on YouTube and immediately starts analyzing the hook, the targeting, and the call to action? Do you love the balance of creative storytelling and performance optimization? Do you get excited about turning video content into measurable business results? If so, this role is built for you. Open Influence, a leader in influencer marketing, is looking for a Paid Media Specialist with deep expertise in YouTube advertising. In this remote, U.S.-based role, you will lead the execution and optimization of paid campaigns that amplify creator and influencer content through YouTube’s ad ecosystem for globally recognized brands. IMPORTANT: To qualify, you must have hands-on experience running campaigns in Google Ads, specifically for YouTube. About Us Open Influence is a global, award-winning creator marketing company, providing premium, end-to-end creator marketing solutions. Since 2013, we have been pioneering the creator economy, executing social-first strategies for over 1,500 top brands—including Uber, Subaru, Coca-Cola, AT&T, and Disney. As a platform-agnostic and talent-agnostic partner, we connect brands with the right creators, on the right channels, to drive measurable impact and business growth. As a YouTube Paid Media Specialist, you will sit at the intersection of creator content and performance media, responsible for scaling video campaigns that deliver awareness, engagement, and conversion outcomes. What You’ll Do • Develop, execute, and manage YouTube ad campaigns across formats such as in-stream, in-feed, Shorts, and connected TV. • Use Google Ads to set up campaign structures, audiences, bidding strategies, and conversion tracking. • Optimize creative performance, including hook testing, audience segmentation, frequency management, and placement strategy. • Analyze performance data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and scale what works. • Translate brand and influencer content into paid media strategies designed for video-first performance. • Manage budgets, pacing, and forecasting to ensure efficient media delivery. • Partner with Account, Creative, and Strategy teams to align paid efforts with influencer and content programs. • Serve as a client-facing expert, presenting insights, performance updates, and optimization plans. What We’re Looking For • 2+ years of hands-on experience running YouTube campaigns in Google Ads • Experience activating paid media on other platforms such as Meta and TikTok is a plus, but not a requirement • Strong understanding of video KPIs such as view rate, CPV, watch time, CTR, and conversion lift • Experience with performance-focused campaigns (direct response, ecommerce, app, or lead gen) • Familiarity with audience strategies including remarketing, custom intent, and affinity segments • Comfort working with conversion tracking, tagging, and attribution frameworks • Agency experience preferred Why Join Open Influence? • Work with top-tier global brands and be at the forefront of influencer marketing and paid media. • Be part of a high-caliber, fast-growing team in a rapidly evolving industry. • Enjoy the flexibility of remote work while making a tangible impact. • Collaborate with innovative minds and gain exposure to cutting-edge marketing strategies. If you’re excited about the intersection of influencer marketing and paid social media, and you have the experience to back it up, we’d love to hear from you! The expected salary range for this role is $65,000–$100,000 USD, depending on experience.
