Software Developer
Booz Allen Hamilton is a consulting firm that provides various services to clients. They are seeking a Software Developer to participate in the development, testing, and delivery of software products or components, while solving routine problems and working under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development, testing, and delivery of software products or components to maintain existing systems
- Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, including limited industry knowledge
- Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels
- Work under direct supervision
Skills
- Experience with programming languages, including Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript, in industry or academic environments
- Experience researching, designing, developing, or modifying enterprise-wide systems, architectures, or applications software in an internship or academic environment
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience with Agile software development processes and tools, including the Atlassian Tool Suite
- Experience documenting testing and maintenance of system corrections
- Knowledge of web protocols
- Knowledge of relational databases, including Oracle or Microsoft SQL
- Bachelor's degree
