The California Department of State Hospitals is looking for a full-time, limited term Recruitment Design and Marketing Analyst to join our team in the Recruitment Unit. This entry-level role focuses on supporting in-house graphic design and marketing efforts to attract applicants for vacancies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to current in-house graphic design and marketing efforts
  • Assist with recruitment-focused print and layout design projects
  • Create illustrations and other custom assets in line with the department’s brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with other areas within the department on design-related projects
  • Assist with recruitment-focused marketing campaigns
  • Social media posting
  • Direct candidate communication, primarily using LinkedIn
  • Occasional travel for creative projects and recruitment-related outreach

Skills

  • Strong visual communication and illustration skills
  • Understanding of industry-standard marketing principles and practices
  • Understanding of the skills and abilities necessary to attract applicants to fill vacancies
  • Assisting with recruitment-focused print and layout design projects
  • Creating illustrations and other custom assets in line with the department's brand guidelines
