Overview

The Credit Portfolio/ETF/Algorithmic Trading desk is part of Credit Flow Trading, sitting within the Global Financing & Credit Trading (GF&CT) business unit. The trading desk acts as a market maker in Investment Grade and High Yield Corporate Bonds. The trading desk also acts as a market maker in Portfolios and ETFs including those bonds to provide liquidity to our clients.

You A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaboration A hybrid working model, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer days Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefits Educational resources, matching gift, and volunteer programs What You'll Do Trade US Credit ETFs and Portfolios of Investment Grade and High Yield Corporate Bonds as a member of a multi-functional trading team; interact directly with external managers of Credit ETFs to create and redeem shares of US Credit ETFs Contribute to the management of Algorithmic trading of Investment Grade and High Yield Corporate Bonds by the team Model and use statistical analysis to identify profitable trading opportunities for the desk & our clients Contribute to the continued development of systems and processes which support the US Credit Portfolio/ETF/Algorithmic Trading activity Work closely with other Deutsche Bank traders to optimize and manage risk positioning in trading books across US Credit Flow Trading Leverage the Institutional Client Group Credit Sales to support an active feedback loop with our clients How You'll Lead Responsibility for training junior staff on the desk Building the Deutsche Bank Credit franchise with clients & capturing market share Skills You'll Need Previous experience as a credit quant either on the buy/sell side Existing relationships with market participants in this space Previous experience with modelling, credit analysis and statistical modelling, ideally resulting in trading ideas History of strong risk management and identifying profitable trading opportunities Skills That Will Help You Excel Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Self-motivated Self-starter Expectations It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in York City is $200K to $485K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
