About the position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interface with vendors to confirm purchase order details and delivery dates
  • Monitors inventory levels of purchased items
  • Assists in inventory related efforts including cycle counts and inventory investigations
  • Track and monitor purchases, from initial order to delivery (International and Domestic)
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Inventory Operations Manager
  • Coordinating purchasing activities with other departments within the company to

ensure consistency in approach, terminology, implementation and execution

  • Use Forecasting and Just-in-time inventory techniques
  • Perform receipt of goods as needed
  • Enforce all purchasing policies and procedures
  • Coordinates resolution efforts when vendor related issues arise
  • Prepare ad hoc reports related to purchasing, inventory levels, in stock goods, etc.
  • Understand and follow company purchasing strategies
  • Verify invoices are accurate and paid in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Inventory/purchasing knowledge required
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Sage MAS500 a plus
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
  • Knowledge of pop culture a plus!

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Thousand Oaks, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
