Senior Lending Systems Administrator

Summary

The Senior Lending System Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, management, and ongoing support of the nCino Bank Operating System. This role requires a combination of technical and business knowledge, as the administrator will work closely with stakeholders to optimize the platform and ensure it meets the needs of the organization’s banking operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce, nCino, and other banking technologies, and will be able to manage both day-to-day administration as well as longer-term project-based initiatives.

Specific Job Functions

  • nCino Configuration & Customization:
    • Configure and customize the nCino platform to meet business requirements, including setting up loan products, workflows, and user permissions.
    • Maintain and manage the platform’s settings, such as integrations, reports, and dashboards.
    • Ensure that the nCino environment is tailored to meet regulatory, reporting, and operational requirements.
  • System Maintenance & Upgrades:
    • Coordinate the deployment of new features, updates, and patches to the nCino platform.
    • Monitor system performance, including identifying and resolving issues related to system integrations or processes.
    • Maintain system documentation and keep track of any changes made to configurations and workflows.
  • Integration Management:
    • Work with internal teams to manage integrations with third-party systems, such as loan servicing systems, document management tools, and core banking platforms.
    • Ensure seamless data flow between nCino and other systems while maintaining data integrity and security.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards within nCino to support business decision-making.
    • Provide key performance indicators (KPIs) and data analysis for management, ensuring that key business metrics are easily accessible and actionable.
    • Work with business units to customize reporting capabilities and ensure data accuracy.
  • Project Management & Continuous Improvement:
    • Lead or support project teams for new product implementations, process improvements, or system enhancements related to nCino.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and recommend improvements based on feedback and system performance data.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into actionable system configurations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure that the nCino system complies with relevant banking regulations, data privacy laws, and internal security policies.
    • Participate in audits and reviews of system usage, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field is required
  • 8 – 10 years of experience administering or configuring nCino or Salesforce in financial services is required.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, particularly in lending (commercial and consumer).
  • Experience with Salesforce administration (e.g., custom objects, workflows, Apex, Visualforce) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with integrations and APIs, particularly in financial technology or banking systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • nCino Administrator certification or Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) is preferred.
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect is preferred.
