STILL Materials Handling Ltd is part of the KION Group, one of the World’s leading manufacturer of forklift trucks, warehouse and material handling equipment. We are currently looking to recruit an Sales Manager Storage Solutions to cover the Central Region. The main focus of this role is to to promote, maintain and increase the sales of the Storage Solutions sales through the KION network, working in partnership within specific segments of the UK Sales teams, in main covering the Central Region. This role will be home-based but will require significant travel across the UK and will involve overstays from home as required and occasional travel abroad, when required by the business.

We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially focused individual, with proven successful

experience of working in the materials handling business in a direct Sales role, with a good working knowledge of Storage Solutions is desirable.

As Sales Manager Storage Solutions, reporting to the Senior Manager Automation Business Unit Sales, you will be responsible for attaining the agreed individual and sales team targets by promoting and selling STILL equipment and services to existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. Maximising sales profitability and growth within Storage Solutions Sales.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • To see tenders through to completion.
  • To promote Storage Solutions sales through the KION network.
  • Visiting customer installation to assess requirements and visiting end users to ensure solution satisfaction.
  • The ability to undertake and complete customer site surveys.
  • Designing and drawing pallet racking installation using AutoCAD.
  • The production of costing and proposals for customers working with external suppliers
  • Working with and supporting the MHE Team on client enquires
  • Working within the ILS Team on integrated solutions

Tasks and Qualifications:

Who are we looking for?

•          Experience of working in the materials handling business in a direct Sales role, with a good working knowledge of Storage Solutions and intralogistics is desirable.

•          An understanding of materials handling flows within warehouse operations.

•          Strong attention to detail.

•          Strong presentation skills in the creation and presenting of proposals and PowerPoint presentations.

•          Confident communicator to all levels of stakeholder, both internally and externally.

•          IT Literate – including intermediate PowerPoint and Excel.

•          Full driving licence.

You will need to be commercially minded, IT literate, and have excellent communication skills.
