General Purpose of Job: The Manager, Investment, Digital will be responsible for various digital marketing activities, including strategic campaign development, optimization, and performance analysis for our clients that drive consumer engagement. The Manager will have superior analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. The successful candidate must display a service-oriented, positive attitude for clients and colleagues, coupled with an appreciation of business realities.

This position will develop winning digital strategies that activate consumers and encourage repeat site visits for performance-based and brand awareness campaigns utilizing current and emerging digital media best practices. This role will be involved in and responsible for multiple channels. While the role focuses primarily on digital media, the Manager should also understand the omnichannel marketing strategy desired by clients and led by our integrated planning teams, along with the specific marketing / media responsibilities of Rise. The successful Manager will provide a high level of service and thought leadership to assigned accounts and navigate the ongoing complexities of digital media to provide a seamless, accurate, and accountable engagement experience. This is a client-facing position.

Key Responsibilities: • Work with the Director and the media planning teams to develop strategies for all digital media buys, as assigned • Lead strategic and tactical planning activities, with oversight responsibilities; act as a primary contact for clients, as appropriate, and internal/external partners • Accountable for building, developing, implementing, and maintaining media plans that adhere to and deliver campaign objectives and strategies • Responsible for managing campaign setup that includes ad serving, tracking implementation, and trafficking • Proactively investigate media opportunities and craft well-supported articulate points-of-view • Review and evaluate proposals from media partners • Deliver in-flight campaign insights that deliver thoughtful and actionable direction for the client • Manage and be accountable for budgets with team; oversee reports and client billing • Manage the use of proprietary and syndicated tools • Set realistic client expectations and make every effort to exceed them with timely quality work • Responsible for managing a team of direct reports (remote and across all Rise locations) with accountability for all aspects of team oversight, including employee onboarding, employee training, employee performance (accountability and behavior), employee retention • Overall control of workflow and assigned responsibilities within the team; oversee the progress of all projects and provide assistance, where necessary, to ensure timely completion; quickly and tactfully troubleshoot employee and client issues • Forecast workloads to align resources to match client needs • Assign work across team members to leverage each person’s individual skills, as well as motivate their interests and keep them challenged • Participate in client education of assigned digital channels, with responsibility for developing intellectual capital, including best practices, case studies, and official agency points-of-view • Encourage thorough evaluation of cross-channel digital marketing strategies, finding opportunity for competitive advantage • Provide ongoing feedback and conduct employee evaluations; develop skills / careers of team members within Rise through feedback and weekly meetings • Keep a finger on the pulse of the ever-changing landscape of digital advertising, including new technology, AI and evolving platforms • Collaborate with leadership and peers to develop solutions that will enhance our operational efficiency, tools, and systems, and improve current workflows.

Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree (communications, marketing, advertising, or business) Experience: • 5+ years developing and managing complex, digital, and multichannel media campaigns • 2+ years leading high performance teams • Sophisticated Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. • Experience with data analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) preferred. • In-depth understanding of performance media strategy, planning, buying, and tracking, as well as campaign • Proven communicator with ability to develop verbal and written presentations, articulate media strategy, insights, and opportunities • Experience analyzing marketing metrics, making quantitative evaluations of planned and completed marketing / media efforts, establishing KPIs and test methodologies, and analyzing tests
