What your role will look like

The Account Executive is fully responsible for sales performance and territory development across Poland and the Adriatic region. The role focuses on building and expanding relationships with predominantly new end‑user customers, as well as system integrators, technology partners, and consultants. Key objectives include increasing revenue, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining regular alignment with the European Central and Eastern (ECE) Europe team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through structured outbound and hunting activities across assigned territories.
  • Work closely with the Sales Development team to plan and execute cold acquisition strategies, ensuring effective lead qualification and smooth handover.
  • Build and maintain a strong top‑of‑funnel pipeline by targeting greenfield accounts and underdeveloped market segments.
  • Conduct account research and mapping to identify key decision‑makers, influencers, and business drivers within target organizations.
  • Initiate and lead first customer meetings, positioning Genetec’s value proposition in the context of customer business and operational needs.
  • Develop and execute territory‑level hunting plans to meet or exceed new customer acquisition, pipeline, and revenue targets, including forecasting and quota management.
  • Collaborate with partners and Channel Account Executives to expand regional reach and co‑develop new customer opportunities.
  • Engage directly with end customers, partners, and consultants through regular on‑site visits and ongoing relationship management.
  • Identify customer requirements, respond to requests for information and requests for quotation, prepare quotes, and develop proposals in coordination with internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate data in customer relationship management systems and track outbound performance, pipeline development, and customer engagement activities.
  • Continuously build and maintain strong knowledge of Genetec solutions, market conditions, and competitive landscape.

  • Min. 5 years sales experience, preferably within physical security or defense in Eastern and Central Europe.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in competitive markets.
  • Solid experience navigating complex, multi‑stakeholder sales environments.
  • Clear, confident communication skills across customer meetings, presentations, written communication, and calls.
  • Ability to build credibility and trusted relationships across all organizational levels, including senior executive leadership.
  • Strong relationship ‑building skills with end customers, system integrators, consultants, and partners.
  • High level of autonomy combined with effective collaboration in a team‑based environment.
  • Excellent time, priority, and travel management skills in a fast‑paced sales role.
  • Proficiency with standard business productivity tools and customer relationship management systems.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Fluent Polish & English language skills; additional Eastern European languages are an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of IP technologies and networking concepts; related expertise is considered an asset.
