Quality Assurance Analyst

The Quality Assurance Analyst works closely with developers, business system analysts, solution architects, other quality assurance analysts, product, and project managers. You will be working in an environment with a wide variety of teams, systems, platforms, and technologies to support business operations. In this role, you will be part of a team that designs, develops & maintains applications built for the billing and administration of group insurance benefits using Microsoft’s Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, etc.).

The Quality Assurance Analyst will:

  • Focus and commit to either independently or working alongside various teams to deliver quality to our clients in a timely manner.

  • Have a natural curiosity towards gaining new understanding, broadening your knowledge base, and sharing that information with others.

  • Manage, prioritize multiple projects, and competing deadlines

  • Execute, document, and maintain all QA testing activities, including managing and updating the test suite.

  • Develop comprehensive QA artifacts such as test strategies, test cases, traceability matrices, and test scenarios.

  • Perform manual and automated testing across web and mobile applications, including UI, functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.

  • Support defect triage and investigate production issues using log monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk).

  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases, usability issues, and potential gaps.

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and define clear, testable acceptance criteria.

  • Improve and support regression testing cycles and release validation within Agile sprints.

  • Ensure client facing digital products meet applicable accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG 2.1).

  • Utilize testing and development tools including TestRail, Jira, Git, Jenkins, or equivalent solutions.

To be successful as a Quality Assurance Analyst with People Corporation, you will need:

  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience within an Agile environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure thorough test coverage across functional, integration, and end-to-end workflows.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve underlying issues.

  • Proven experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.

  • Experience supporting UAT and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The base salary for this position is between $80,000 - $97,000 annually.

This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to provide additional details of the total compensation for this role.
