In 2010, Calix China Development Center, "凯易讯," was funded in Nanjing Software Valley, located on Software Avenue, with convenient transportation. Calix CDC comprises nearly 300 professionals specializing in software and hardware development, testing, supply chain, and project management. Our team members hail from well-known companies in the IT and Internet industry. We collaborate with global teams to develop core products.
As a member of the global Automation Test team, you will participate in automation test platform development.
After interning with this team for over six months, you will:
- Gain programming experience primarily in Python, Vue3, etc.
- Deepen your understanding of the development environment and automation test.
- Improve your problem-solving and analytical skills
- Enhance your experience working in an English environment and collaborating with international teams
Internship Duration
- The internship can start immediately upon successful interview
- Work 3-5 days per week
- The internship period is 6 months or longer
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to develop new features for the Calix Automation Platform (ET-Home).
- Design and maintain tools to support daily automation tasks.
- Provide support for ad-hoc issues raised by the automation test development and execution teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree, graduating in 2026 or 2027.
- Available for an internship for at least 6 months.
- Major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Communications, or related fields.
- Proficient in Git and other version control tools.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of the following: Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- Having knowledge in front-end technologies, such as Vue.js, React, Bootstrap, or others, will be advantageous.
- Familiar with Linux systems and capable of writing Shell scripts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, PPPoE, DHCP, and IGMP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Bamboo, GitLab, or Jenkins.
- Experience working with Docker containers.
Allowance
- 200-280 RMB per day, adjusted based on the internship stage and performance.
