  • Implement automated quality gates, impact analysis, and self-healing workflows

  • Own performance tuning strategies across batch, streaming, and high-volume analytics workloads

  • Lead high-severity incident response and drive long-term remediation strategies

  • Mentor engineers and influence cross-functional platform modernization initiatives

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 7+ years of prior relevant experience in  data engineering, data platform, or analytics engineering roles

  • 5+ years of prior relevant hands-on experience in Databricks or equivalent Spark environments

  • Experience with Unity Catalog governance and permissions

  • Proven implementation of data quality frameworks and observability standards

  • Deep knowledge of Delta Lake internals and distributed data processing

  • Experience defining SLAs, anomaly detection, and automated monitoring frameworks

  • Expertise in performance tuning, workload isolation, partitioning strategies, and compute optimization

  • Strong understanding of modeling patterns for analytics and operational systems

  • Experience building production-grade pipelines, reusable libraries, modular code standards, version control, and automated testing

  • Familiarity with Terraform, Airflow, and Databricks Workflows

  • Domain experience in Gaming & Hospitality Operations, Loyalty & Customer Engagement, or Marketing & Commercial Analytics preferred

  • Ability to translate complex technical architecture into clear, business-aligned narratives

THE PERKS & BENEFITS:

  • Enjoy unbeatable discounts on hotel stays, dining, retail, entertainment, and exclusive partner perks for travel, tech, and beyond!

  • Savor delicious meals for free in our employee dining room.
