About the Role

We are seeking a highly technical and execution‑focused Product Manager–Integrations to lead the delivery of complex system integrations across our platform. This role owns the end‑to‑end lifecycle of integrations with HRIS, benefits, time & attendance, accounting, and tax vendor systems. You will partner closely with engineering, implementations, compliance, and external partners to ensure reliable, scalable, and compliant integrations that power customer workflows.

This is an ideal role for a technically strong PM who thrives in fast‑paced environments, excels at cross‑functional leadership, and enjoys solving customer and system‑to‑system challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Delivery & Technical Execution

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex payroll, HRIS, and platform integrations.
  • Drive engineering execution, managing timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Develop clear, actionable technical requirements from customer, compliance, and business needs.
  • Own integration roadmaps, prioritization, and release planning.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Act as both product owner and program lead, partnering with engineering, implementations, compliance, customer success, and external vendor teams.
  • Ensure smooth coordination across teams to support predictable and high-quality delivery.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders, surfacing risks early and ensuring timely resolution.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Serve as a technical point of escalation for customer or partner integration issues.
  • Lead clear, solution-oriented communications with customers, internal teams, and external partners.

Compliance & Domain Expertise

  • Build and support products within U.S. payroll, tax, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ensure integrations meet compliance requirements with zero audit issues.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support adoption growth of integrations by improving reliability, ease of setup, and partner capabilities.
  • Improve predictability of releases and reduce integration‑related escalations.

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Technical Product Leadership: 4+ years as a senior or lead PM in technical, execution‑heavy environments delivering complex systems.
  • API & Integration Expertise: Strong knowledge of APIs, data flows, workflows, and system‑to‑system integrations.
  • Integration Roadmap Ownership: Proven experience leading integrations across HRIS, payroll, benefits, time & attendance, accounting, or tax ecosystems.
  • Cross‑Functional Ownership: Comfortable acting as both product owner and program lead.
  • Execution & Delivery Management: Skilled at driving engineering teams toward predictable, high-quality outcomes.
  • Customer-Facing Problem Solving: Able to guide technical conversations and handle client escalations confidently.
  • Payroll & Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. payroll and HCM in regulated, compliance-heavy environments.
  • Nice to Have: Exposure to payroll/FinTech SaaS, integration platforms, .NET or JavaScript-based environments (no coding required).

Skills & Experiences Gained in This Role

  • Ownership of complex integration delivery across multiple system types.
  • Development of high-quality technical requirements and compliance-aware product decisions.
  • Cross-functional leadership across engineering, implementation, compliance, and partner teams.
  • Customer and stakeholder management in technical and escalated scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience building in U.S. payroll and regulatory domains.
  • Strengthening delivery predictability, risk management, and execution discipline.
  • Exposure to modern integration platform tooling and API patterns.

  • Collaborative Culture: Work with passionate, talented teams in an environment that values innovation and transparency.
