Job Description:

The Benefits and Wellness Partner is responsible for the enterprise‑wide design, delivery, and continuous improvement of employee wellness programs, supporting a holistic approach to employee health, wellbeing, and sustainability. This role serves as a strategic partner across the organization to advance wellness initiatives while also assisting with the administration of core employee benefits programs.

The role ensures wellness programs are effectively integrated with the broader benefits ecosystem—including medical, dental, vision, disability, EAP, voluntary benefits, and retirement plans—while supporting compliant, consistent, and high‑quality benefits administration and a positive employee experience.

  • Position employee wellness as a strategic enterprise lever, embedding wellbeing into people systems, benefits administration, and decision‑making to support workforce sustainability, engagement, and organizational performance.
  • Serve as a steward of enterprise wellness and benefits systems, ensuring accurate configuration, integration, and data governance across HRIS and vendor platforms to enable scalable, insight‑driven wellness and benefits delivery.
  • Support the accuracy and integrity of benefits and wellness data, conducting proactive audits and quality controls to ensure compliance, minimize risk, and support reliable reporting and strategic analysis.
  • Lead and support enterprise‑wide wellness initiatives, leveraging data, employee insights, and best practices to drive participation, improve wellbeing outcomes, and reinforce wellness as a driver of employee experience and retention.
  • Partner in the development and execution of wellness communications and education, ensuring programs are visible, accessible, and aligned to organizational wellbeing priorities and workforce needs.
  • Act as a subject‑matter partner for employees and leaders, providing guidance on benefits, wellness programs, and system‑enabled changes, resolving complex issues while reinforcing a consistent and supportive employee experience.
  • Support the administration and system coordination of leave‑of‑absence and disability programs, ensuring compliance, operational consistency, and a compassionate employee experience during critical life events.
  • Apply working expertise in FMLA, ADA, and disability regulations, reducing compliance risk and ensuring fair, consistent application across the enterprise.
  • Play a key role in the strategy and execution of the annual open enrollment process, ensuring system readiness, effective employee education, and smooth enrollment outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver benefits and wellness insights and reporting for leadership, translating data into recommendations that inform strategy, investment decisions, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable federal and state regulations, including health and welfare plans, leave management, retirement programs, and wellness‑related compliance requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex benefits and wellness information into clear, accessible guidance for employees, leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience advancing physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing initiatives, positioning wellness as a strategic contributor to employee engagement, resilience, and workforce sustainability.
  • Highly developed organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain data accuracy, and support enterprise‑level program delivery
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to leverage technology and systems to support benefits administration, wellness communications, and data‑informed decision‑making.
  • Associate’s degree in HR or related field, but experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for the education.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in benefits administration.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience with wellness program design, coordination, administration, and management.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification credential.
