SAP HCM Payroll Consultant Germany (m/w/d) (Flexible)

Joining our HR & Travel Expenses team as a Payroll Consultant, you'll primarily collaborate in managing ongoing payroll support in SAP across multiple countries including Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Cape Verde, Turkey and the Dominican Republic. ABOUT THE JOB

  • You'll deliver high quality support performance for SAP payroll processes in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements and within budget, participating in a multi-skilled customer-focused team of internal and external resources.

  • Supporting the implementation of process improvement initiatives will be part of your role, focusing on technical aspects like payroll developments, data migration, integration and coordination of development work.

  • You'll manage the operational relationship with external near shore and offshore development and service providers, ensuring planning, execution and quality control meet our standards.

  • You'll be responsible for the proper implementation of semi-annual legal change packages in HCM, applying SAP Notes and addressing new legal requirements promptly.

  • Pro-active and prompt interaction with the end-user community is important to the team's success, as you'll ensure issues and concerns are discussed and resolved quickly.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have substantial experience with SAP HCM processes and customizing Germany HCM, including Personnel Administration, Payroll, Time Management, Organizational Management and Self-service Portal.

  • Your technical knowledge covers S4HANA, SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central integration with SAP HCM, and ABAP/4 programming.

  • You possess in-depth knowledge of payroll customizing, wage types, features, payroll scheme and payroll functions, with previous experience in SAP HR consulting.

  • Your understanding of Human Resources business processes enables you to support Change Management Processes, including SAP HCM Hana Migration and onboarding of new users.

  • Fluency in both English and German is required for this role, with additional languages being a plus.

  • You're comfortable working in an international environment with colleagues from different nationalities, and you may have the opportunity to participate in projects implementing payroll for other countries.
