TVC Pro-Driver is a member of the Love’s Family of Companies and is a commercial driver’s license (CDL) protection subscription service with more than thirty-five years of experience assisting individual drivers and fleets in reducing or dismissing fines, preventing downtime for court and protecting compliance, safety and accountability (CSA) scores.

Welcome to TVC Pro-Driver! The Sales Development Representative will generate leads for the Enterprise Sales team by engaging large trucking fleets through various outbound, inbound, and marketing efforts.

Job Functions

  • Directly engage with Enterprise fleets of 25 trucks or more through outbound and inbound phone calls.
  • Aim to book meetings with Enterprise fleets for Enterprise Sales Managers to follow up with and close.
  • Identifies and solicits existing business by making high volume of outbound calls
  • Builds and maintains a full pipeline of enterprise sales prospects
  • Meet or exceed monthly quota of meetings booked for Enterprise Sales Managers
  • Meet call volume quote daily
  • Work through company provided leads and seek business opportunities in the transportation industry
  • Identify client needs, suggest product/service features and benefits, and quote pricing
  • Provide exceptional service to prospects to resolve inquiries.
  • Work with sales leadership to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Update all leads and opportunities through Salesforce CRM system
  • Ensure detailed activity in Salesforce (keep all leads and opportunities up to date)
  • Answer the prospect’s questions promptly, accurately, and professionally
  • Maintain above average knowledge of memberships and benefits
  • Maintain above average knowledge of computer system
  • Check emails daily and respond as necessary
  • Precisely note all details into the computer system
  • Goals are subject to change as necessary
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgment in respect to memberships and sales, requiring negotiations
  • All other duties as assigned and required

Experience and Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) required  • Bachelors’ degree preferred  • 1 year of sales experience required  • Experience working in Salesforce or similar CRM system • Knowledge of trucking industry a plus • Must be able to type at least 30 WPM  • Must be able to operate a computer, use the internet and be familiar with 10-key  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Typical Physical Demands

  • Some travel required.
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to: Stand, walk, sit for long periods of time, use hands/wrists/fingers for extended periods of typing,use hands/wrists/fingers to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs and/or ladders, maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, read. 
  • The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move objects up to 25  pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. 

Schedule

• Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. 40 hours per week.

  • The location assignment is remote.
  • This location is subject to change and/or the position may be required to operate in additional locations.
