Automation Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell.
Build, update, and optimize automation workflows that integrate with M365 and Entra ID.
Work with development teams across the full software development lifecycle to support automation needs.
Use APIs for automation, data integration, and reporting.
Use basic HTML and SQL skills to support automation, dashboards, and reporting.
Provide IT support and troubleshooting for automation, scripts, and related systems.
Support projects involving managed services platforms such as ConnectWise Manage or similar PSAs.
Use AI tools and prompt engineering to improve and extend automation capabilities.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
Solid understanding of JSON data structures and how to work with them in scripts and APIs.
Hands-on experience with M365 and Entra ID administration or integration.
Experience consuming and working with APIs.
Basic working knowledge of HTML and SQL.
Understanding of software development lifecycles and how to structure and manage technical projects.
IT support experience in a helpdesk or technical support role (MSP experience is a plus).
Ability and willingness to learn and apply AI tools and prompt engineering in day-to-day work.
Preferred Skills
Experience with GitHub for source control and collaboration.
Experience with managed services PSA platforms such as ConnectWise Manage (or similar).
Experience with Rewst RPA.
PIA automation tool experience is a plus.
