About the Role

As a Seasonal Customer Service Agent, you will be an integral part of our Remote Orkin Customer Contact Center team, providing exceptional customer service, retention, and sales support to our valued customers. You will work remotely from your home office, equipped with the necessary tools and technology to succeed in this role. Our team is dedicated to delivering best-in-class service, and we're looking for talented individuals who share our passion for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Seasonal Customer Service Agent, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, retention, and sales support to our valued customers
  • Managing customer relationships to ensure best-in-class service
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
  • Assisting customers with unpaid debt and attempting to collect
  • Resolving billing and customer credit issues
  • Scheduling new termite inspections
  • Making outbound welcome calls to new customers
  • Using gamification tools to measure performance and increase engagement
  • Working a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School/GED
  • 1-2 years customer service experience within or outside a call center
  • Completion of a Culture Index assessment
  • Verification of internet speed
  • Ability to pass a computer assessment
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screen
  • Appropriate workspace in your home, private/semiprivate home-office space free of distractions and background noise
  • Minimum of 50 mbps download/20 mbps upload or higher, high-speed internet connection with the ability to hard wire directly to a modem
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills in various software and web-based applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume role
  • Excellent customer service soft skills such as empathy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
