QA Engineer - Remote, India

Responsibilities
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

  • Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.

  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar platforms.

  • Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure quality across all stages.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation processes.

  • Test GenAI-based features including prompts, AI agents, and workflows.

  • Validate AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, and edge cases.

  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.

  • Ensure overall product quality, usability, and performance.

Essential SkillsJob
  • Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC processes.

  • Hands-on experience in manual testing methodologies.

  • Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tools).

  • Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Ability to test and validate GenAI features and workflows.

  • Exposure to performance or security testing.

  • Awareness of CI/CD pipelines and processes.

  • Strong ownership and accountability in delivering quality outcomes.

Other Relevant Information
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in software testing are a plus.

  • Experience working with AI/GenAI-based applications is highly desirable.

  • This role offers the flexibility of working remotely in India.
