Job Description You are responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development and product teams. You will report to Software Engineering Manager. Your Responsibilities: Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create detailed test plans and test cases Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing Execute test cases manually and/or using automation tools Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect-tracking tools Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to resolve issues Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum) Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and best practices Prepare test summary reports and provide test metrics to stakeholders Mentor junior testers and review their test cases (if applicable). The Essentials - You Will Have: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 4–6 years of experience in software testing / quality assurance. Experience with SDLC and STLC. Hands-on experience with Manual Testing methodologies. 3+ years of experience with Automation Testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured). Knowledge of database testing and basic SQL queries. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Good analytical, problem-solving. The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration Experience testing web, mobile, or cloud-based applications ISTQB or other QA certifications.
