Position Summary

We're seeking a Remote Data Entry Specialist to support our internal data operations by accurately entering, maintaining, and verifying data across our company systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity of the data used in operations, reporting, and strategic planning. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Accurately inputting a high volume of data into internal systems and databases
  • Reviewing and verifying data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
  • Regularly updating records and performing audits to identify and correct data entry errors
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary data
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth data flow and resolve discrepancies
  • Assisting with compiling reports and performing data analysis as needed
  • Following data entry protocols and contributing to the refinement of processes and best practices

Key Responsibilities

  • Record Maintenance: Regularly update records and perform audits to identify and correct data entry errors
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary data
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth data flow and resolve discrepancies
  • Reporting: Assist with compiling reports and performing data analysis as needed
  • Process Improvement: Follow data entry protocols and contribute to the refinement of processes and best practices

Qualifications

Required:

+ High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred) + 1+ years of experience in data entry, clerical, or administrative support roles + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and/or Google Workspace + Excellent attention to detail and accuracy + Strong organizational and time management skills + Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting + Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 45 WPM)

Preferred:

+ Experience working with CRM systems, ERP platforms, or other enterprise-level software + Familiarity with data quality best practices and data security standards + Prior experience in the technology, restaurant, or retail industry is a plus
