Experienced Customer Logistics Sr. Consultant – Supply Chain Optimization and Strategic Partnership Development at arenaflex

About the Role

In this dynamic position, you'll leverage your expertise in logistics, supply chain management, and business development to drive incremental top-line sales, reduce costs, and improve cost-to-serve for arenaflex's customers. You'll build and maintain strategic relationships with customer logistics teams and leadership, collaborating to achieve and maintain preferred supplier status. Your ability to communicate complex supply chain solutions and strategies will be essential in driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Logistics Sr. Consultant at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing arenaflex & customer supply chain initiatives to drive incremental top-line sales, reduce costs, and improve cost-to-serve
• Building strategic relationships with customer logistics teams and leadership through partnership forums and ongoing interaction to achieve and maintain preferred supplier status
• Developing strategic programming with customers and integrating into Customer Development business plans
• Communicating customer supply chain expectations and strategies, dimensioning the impact to arenaflex and recommending changes to strategies and policies as appropriate
• Aligning, developing, and mobilizing implementation of supply chain best practices that deliver improved service, reduced distribution cost & complexity, and enable inventory reductions at arenaflex and the customer
• Understanding business unit and customer business team supply chain initiatives and serving as a liaison between the customer and arenaflex to drive the appropriate programs back into the customer
• Communicating complex supply chain and business solutions to customers and team leaders/members
• Adapting and supporting the organization through times of change
• Assessing business views strategically and building strong, sustainable business relationships at various levels throughout the organization and with key customers
• Conducting strategic business and data analyses precisely and proficiently with data-driven recommendations for improvements and advancements

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• 8+ years of business experience with at least 4 years of cross-functional supply chain experience, inclusive of customer service, planning, and distribution
• Demonstrated LEAN thinking and capability
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication, analyzing, influencing, collaborating, motivating, business intuition, and results orientation
• Prioritization and time management, cross-functional collaboration, change management, project and team management, active listening, adaptability, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel 25% of the time

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following skills and experiences would be beneficial:

• Working knowledge of arenaflex's supply chain interactions
• Proficient in data access tools and PC-based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, RSi, Business Warehouse (BW) Reporting, SAP R/3, PowerBI)
