Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Columbus, OH or Pittsburgh, PA. As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for our patients and their families. Key Responsibilities

* Actively listen and probe callers in a professional and timely manner to determine the purpose of the calls

  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email, or chat
  • Provide swift, thorough, friendly, and effective customer service to all internal and external customers, remaining focused on creating a great customer experience
  • Resolve issues by clarifying the customer's concern, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, and expediting correction or adjustment
  • Have access to personal health information (PHI) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities
  • Effectively work with others and promote teamwork to generate positive and creative results

Requirements

* Ability to work every weekend, 3rd shift

  • High school diploma
  • One (1) year experience in customer service
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines, and effectively handle a heavy workload
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, with clinical and non-clinical personnel
  • Proficient in software programs and able to navigate between computer systems
  • Ability to sit in front of a computer for long periods of time
  • Travel required for training and onsite orientation at an office nearest to you

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
