This position is ideal for an experienced procurement leader who brings deep expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain planning, and who can build resilient procurement processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute the portfolio-wide procurement strategy for major equipment and material categories, including power, cooling, and electrical systems
  • Lead sourcing, bidding, and negotiation activities for large-scale equipment and material packages
  • Establish procurement plans that align with business objectives, construction schedules, and delivery milestones

Vendor Management and Commercial Oversight

  • Negotiate favorable commercial terms while maintaining long-term supplier relationships and supply continuity

Cross-Functional Planning and Coordination

  • Support planning for long-lead materials and critical equipment to reduce schedule risk and improve delivery confidence
  • Coordinate across stakeholders to identify procurement priorities, constraints, and opportunities for improved execution

Supply Chain Risk and Process Improvement

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, particularly for critical or long-lead items
  • Develop structured, repeatable procurement processes and controls that support portfolio growth
  • Drive continuous improvement across procurement workflows, vendor accountability, and material planning practices
Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement and materials management for large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, strategic sourcing, and vendor management
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex procurement activities across multiple stakeholders and project demands

Preferred

  • Experience managing supply chain risk for long-lead equipment such as switchgear, cooling systems, or other specialized infrastructure components
  • Experience negotiating and managing contracts for advanced technology, automation, or robotics-related solutions
  • Experience building or scaling procurement processes in a high-growth or evolving project environment
  • Familiarity with procurement planning for complex, mission-critical construction programs

The position involves regular coordination with executive leadership, engineering teams, construction teams, vendors, and project stakeholders across a growing portfolio of major construction projects.
