Job Summary Keyrus is looking for a DevOps & DataOps Engineer. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and Python-based automation, combined with a deep understanding of data platforms and data pipeline reliability. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and stabilise cloud-based infrastructure supporting data platforms across AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and reliability of Python-based data pipelines
  • Lead the modernisation of infrastructure, migrating from Docker Compose on virtual machines to Kubernetes-based environments (AKS/EKS) using GitOps and CI/CD best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues at the intersection of infrastructure, Python services, APIs, and databases, ensuring end-to-end data pipeline continuity Requirements for the role
  • Proven experience in DevOps, DataOps, or Platform Engineering roles supporting data platforms (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Informatica, or custom Python ETL frameworks)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and Python scripting/debugging;
  • Experience with Kubernetes is a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of data infrastructure concepts, including SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Snowflake), connectivity, drivers, and performance troubleshooting
  • Fluent in English
  • Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal What we offer at Keyrus Portugal:
