Key Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and chat
• Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• One or more years of college education or relevant work experience

• A home office that is noise and distraction-free
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to pass a background screen
• Ability to pass pre-licensing and resident exam
• 2+ years of experience in a customer service environment or equivalent customer service skills and experience
• Experience in a healthcare or insurance environment is preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare or insurance environment, with familiarity with medical terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design
• Strong knowledge of healthcare products and services
• Experience working with diverse populations and cultures
• Bilingual or multilingual skills

• Internet speed minimum – download speed 5.0 MB; upload speed 3.0 MB
• Internet service provider (ISP) must be highly stable with no packet loss and latency under 100ms
• DSL, Fiber, or broadband required – WiFi, WiMax, satellite, dial-up, and/or hot spots, Mobile carriers, VPNs, and hosting services are NOT allowed
• Home router with a wired link (Ethernet cable) to PC
