As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers from all over the world to resolve their queries, provide exceptional support, and help them get the most out of our Shopify app. You'll be part of a small, agile team that's passionate about delivering top-notch customer experiences and building a system that will set the standard for future customer support teams.

About arenaflex

arenaflex is a small team of 4 people that has been building tools for Shopify merchants for over 2 years. We've been growing steadily, and now we're ready to take our customer support to an even higher level. Our app has an excellent rating, and we're committed to maintaining this level of excellence by providing exceptional support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Communicating with customers via live chat or email to resolve any problems they may have
  • Continuously learning about the features of our app and the broader Shopify ecosystem to provide better support
  • Summarizing product feedback from merchants and suggesting new ways to improve our product
  • Performing non-CS related tasks, such as researching tools, writing blog posts, and making mockups, based on your natural abilities and interests

Must-Have Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for talking to people and solving their problems
  • The ability to handle "hard" customers (although we have very few of those!)
  • Proficiency in discussing technical concepts at a high level
  • Comfortable working with basic CSS and JS, with a willingness to learn more if needed
  • Ability to write technical documentation/articles
  • Willingness to perform non-CS related tasks, as we're a small startup and we all wear multiple hats
  • Ability to have at least 4 hours of overlap with GMT+7 (9am-6pm)

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be a bonus:

  • Experience working with Shopify, especially something related to theme development/customization
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS
  • Additional languages, especially French, Spanish, and Italian
  • Any other skills that can be beneficial to a startup, such as marketing, SEO, video editing, etc.
