Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation, Content Group. As a Data Analyst, you'll apply advanced analytical techniques to drive business decisions, identify new opportunities, and optimize our content portfolio. Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions
- Analyze customer behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped customer needs and new content opportunities
- Forecast content performance to inform procurement decisions and optimize content strategy
- Streamline our content release and episode discharge process to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Test marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance and drive business growth
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to partners to drive business success
- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistical analysis and data visualization
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python programming languages
- Experience with machine learning methods, including decision trees, regression, clustering, and more
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity to solve complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI
- Strong understanding of media and entertainment industry trends and challenges
