What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting after-hours calls to triage urgent clinical needs of patients, caregivers, and referral sources
  • Assisting local Patient Registration teams with new patient referrals and ensuring accurate information collection
  • Meeting standardized performance metrics for calls and referrals
  • Communicating coordination of care information with team members, patients/caregivers, referral sources, and home health agencies
  • Providing quality customer service during all interactions and maintaining an organized file system for document tracking and patient management

What Is Required (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school graduate or GED required
  • At least one year of previous call center experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and keyboarding skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to promote a compassionate, caring, customer service-oriented culture
  • Knowledge of computerized information systems
  • Dedicated workspace that is quiet and free of distractions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
