Experienced Full Stack Data Science Director – Global Data Strategy and Analytics

The Role

As a Full Stack Data Science Director, you'll be responsible for leading the Global Data Strategy group within the Risk Finance organization. Your primary duty will be to develop and implement centralized reporting capabilities, process enhancements, and automation to drive revolutionary insights and analytics for the wider Risk Finance organization. You'll work closely with senior management, risk management, and finance teams to provide credit-associated analytical support and develop key analyses and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the strategic evaluation of arenaflex credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance

• Own precise information assets/packages within Risk Finance, and become a subject matter expert of the applicable tools (troubleshoot issues, reconcile results, identify enhancements and automation possibilities, and train other customers to drive adoption)
• Develop and maintain preferred and ad-hoc reviews utilized by Risk Finance and/or business partners; provide credit-associated analytical support
• Develop and present key analyses and recommendations to Senior Management
• Build and maintain relationships across Risk Finance portfolio groups and with partners in Risk, Controllership, Tech, etc.
• Provide selection-aid with a strong emphasis on growing analytics that identify trends and opportunities within the portfolio which can be used to optimize Business and Risk decisions

Required Qualifications

* Advanced experience working with a combination of the following is required: SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, TM1

• Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint required
• Experience in ML modeling is a plus
• Solid economic and analytical skills; ability to work with large units of data and draw significant conclusions, empowering our business partners to make smart, data-driven decisions
• Superior attention to detail, alongside exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must be results-driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight timelines
• Desire to work on ambiguous tasks, growing clarity while achieving successful and significant outcomes
• A strong work-ethic and strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to build and maintain relationships and successfully collaborate with team members to achieve goals
• Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint required
• Master's degree in advanced mathematics or statistical discipline required

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated compensation range for this role is $55.00 to $85.00 hourly + bonus + equity (if relevant) + benefits. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
