Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls from customers and providing exceptional customer service
  • Reviewing customer history as necessary to resolve issues and provide personalized solutions
  • Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues
  • Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve issues and provide solutions
  • Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to ensure accurate record-keeping and quality control

About You

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative, you will need:

  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry or a related field
  • Strong geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate multiple applications and systems
  • Excellent customer service skills, including strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in using the internet and navigating multiple applications
  • Self-directed and able to organize, prioritize, anticipate situations, act, and see issues through to completion
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High-speed, hardwired internet connection (no Wi-Fi or satellite)
  • Computer and equipment meeting the following specifications:

+ Operating System: Windows 10 + Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above + Memory: 8GB of RAM + Hard Drive: 256GB + Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome + Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels + Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) + Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software + Headset: USB noise-canceling headset
